Something new.

It has been a long time since I posted on here, and for that I apologize. The reason for that delay is basically that I didn’t have anything worth sharing in regards to my written work. For anyone wondering, writing has been fine, publishing decidedly less so. The reasons for this are myriad, but while I do plan on continuing to work with my friends in Seattle, the time has come for me to do something with some of my work from the last few years.

So, to that end I need your help. I’ve elected to enter a book in a program called Kindle Scout, which will allow anyone access to the first 5,000 words of an unreleased project of mine, The Vanderbilt, starting at midnight on January 5th and running through February 4th. If the project reviews successfully enough, the entire book could be released through this platform. So if you dig the excerpt, please vote so that the rest of it can come out via this interesting new process.

The Vanderbilt

As always, thanks for reading my stuff.

    Aric,
It was good to hear something from you. I’ve been a fan of his for a few years. I had a couple questions for you. Any idea when the next 2 parts to the Weavers trilogy will be released? Is there anyway to read some of your unpublished works like Old Dudes or Family Men?? Lastly is that German book yours, with the tattoo gun on the cover, and is there and English version?? Seems like that cover is your style. Thanks for your time and hope to be reading more of you books very soon. Take care

      Hi Brian,

Thanks for checking in and reading my work! Ok, first things first, the book with the tattoo machine on it is a translated version of A Good and Useful Hurt, so no need to learn German to read that one. Secondly, I’m really not sure what’s coming next, just that I’m going to be self-publishing a novel soon. That will likely be The Vanderbilt if it doesn’t make it through the Kindle Scout program, but if not it will be something else. What it will not be is one of the Weavers sequels. Hopefully those will see the light of day eventually, but I need to figure out this whole self-pubbing thing for my back catalog, and I just wouldn’t feel right starting with a sequel. If it goes well, I do plan to release a number of other older works, including those books, as well as Old Dudes and Family Men.
