Im alllllmost finished with weavers and I just wanted to say the book is amazing. I taught myself how to read with a couple Stephen king books one of them being firestarter and remember thinking how does this old dude know what it feels like to be a girl my age?! Flash forward 18 years(I’m 26) and I’m having the same experience reading your book…not that I’m 8 anymore obviously but just that you get that perspective and be so accurate is insane especially considering how unique it is.I love this book. I love sassy old ladies and mrs. Marten definitely is a sassy old lady, but Cynthia..she feels so real. Thanks for putting the time and thought into developing such cool interesting characters!! Best book I’ve picked up in a long time. Can’t wait until the next one comes out! now to finish the first one :3

    Ok…I’m done. Thanks again :3

      Hi Ty,

Thanks so much for checking it out, and for stopping by! I cut my teeth on Steven King books as well, and he’s obviously been a huge influence on my work. His ability to “tell” child characters so well is something that I strive for in my own writing, and it’s really cool that so many of my readers think I got Cynthia right.

I hope you enjoyed the end of Weavers as much as you did the start, and thanks again for giving my work a shot.

      Thanks,
      Aric
