Hockey was…

rough tonight. Apparently a large chunk of my team chose to attend the Kid Rock concert rather than attend an adult sporting event. We ended up lining up six vs.thirteen.

I made some nice saves, including one that would be lame to describe but would be really cool if there was video. There is no video.

No writing again for Tuesday, and no hurting anyone either. I got interviewed about Nickel Plated though. It’s been a while, and the first time ever about writing, cool stuff.

  1. This is not really a comment for publication…
Just finished Nickel Plated. What a great read! I truly enjoyed it and will start Tunnel Vision shortly.
You might check out my book, Purple Sunshine. We share many themes, and mine is another Michigan novel. I’m also a hockey player…okay, former hockey player. Quit in my mid-forties and switched to swimming. The over-forty league rules suck.

      Hi Bob,

I know this comment wasn’t for publication, but didn’t think it would exactly hurt your feelings if some of readers heard about your book by seeing it mentioned on here. I’m currently slogging through a pile of other stuff, but I’ll be sure to give Purple Sunshine a look when I get the chance. Thanks for reading my work, and best of luck in your own literary pursuits. It can be a tough road, but it really can be worth all of the hard work.

      Thanks,
      Aric
